Mason Jar was invited to create a new visual identity and brand for singer/songwriter Bethia Beadman. My mission is to communicate and to awaken passion. I want to ignite ancient mystical experiences and blow your mind. I want to enchant audiences with beautiful aesthetics, rich vibrant colors and epic symbology that propel people to discover their own mysterious qualities and send them on an amazing mystical trip. The intention with Bethia Beadman’s project is to establish a pivotal powerful look, vibe and experience to launch and propel her music onto an international platform and stage. I picture her within a larger context – the History of Rock. The goal is to establish a mythic persona and create a meaningful iconography to match Bethia Beadman’s luminosity, her music and talent. It is important to create a timeless look, something that is not easily identifiable into a particular decade, while at the same time capturing a fashion forward vibe and feel. Musicians are the modern day shamans. Music is part of a powerful movement to change and rebuild our society. The goal is to match a strong visual tonal quality to Bethia Beadman’s unique voice and music – to forge new pathways, to create something lasting, something powerful, and to envision a fabulous future, not merely emulate a nostalgic past.
